Sequoyah County Technology Challenge
1. Middle School Structural Challenge has been modified drastically this year by National TSA. Please review the new Middle School Rules for complete information.
NOTES:
There will be NO base plate for the MS Structural Challenge.
There is no height or width limit, however there is a defined span and length limit. For SCTC, the MS span will be 12" with a length of 14".
2. Electrical Applications for SCTC will examine Ohm's Law. Students competing in this event will need to be fluent in calculating Ohm's Law. At SCTC, participants will use an old shareware program that will time their ability to calculate this formula. You may download this program by clicking HERE.
NOTES:
To run this program save it to your computer. Once saved, click on the file called "GO.exe" to execute the program. Then click "Continue," and click "DC Circuits" from the upper left corner and select "Ohm's Law."
Students will be scored on time and accuracy.
